No Armenian official accompanied Under Secretary Zeya to Genocide Memorial

U.S. Under Secretary Uzra Zeya on Monday visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan to pay her respects to victims of the 1915 genocide, the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan reported, sharing photos from the visit.

In a social media post, political activist Edgar Ghazaryan, a former Armenian ambassador to Poland, called attention to the fact that no Armenian official accompanied Zeya and her delegation on the trip.
