Quake hits Armenian border area

A magnitude 3․5 earthquake struck the Armenia-Nakhichevan border zone on Monday morning.

The quake was 14 km north of the town of Kajaran and at a depth of 10 km, the Rescue Service of the Armenian Interior Ministry reported.

The tremors measured at 4 on the Richter scale were felt in the towns of Agarak, Meghri, Kajaran and Kapan in Syunik Province.
