Armenia's Erik Gasparyan wins Batumi Municipality Cup blitz event

Armenian FM Erik Gasparyan won the blitz tournament held as part of the 8th Batumi Municipality Cup.

Erik scored 8.5 points out of 9, the Armenian Chess Federation reported on Tuesday.

FM Sargis Manukyan finished 3rd with 7.5 points, while CM Narek Ginoyan came in 6th with 7 points.

Manvel Arakelyan took the 1st place in the U14 event with 6.5 points.

WFM Polina Kobak took the 2nd place in the girls section with 6 points.
