Magnitude 4.2 quake hits Georgia, tremors felt in Armenia

A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck Georgia early on Wednesday morning.

The quake was 30 km south of the town of Gurjaani and at a depth of 10 km, the Rescue Service of the Armenian Interior Ministry reported.

The tremors were felt in Armenia’s Tavush, Lori and Gegharkunik Provinces, as well as the capital Yerevan.
