Yerevan subway operations normal, not affected by floods

The Yerevan Metro is operating as normal and its services have not been affected by Wednesday’s flooding in the Armenian capital, the subway press service reported.

Torrential rain flooded parts of Yerevan, including the Shengavit subway station, late on Wednesday evening.

In a statement on Thursday, the metro said its employees took prompt action to deal with the emergency situation, which did not the subway services.
