Poti Int'l Chess Festival: Armenia's Vahe Sukiasyan wins blitz event

Armenian FM Vahe Sukiasyan became the winner of the second blitz tournament held within the framework of the 17th Poti International Chess Festival Nana Aleksandria Cup - 2024.

Vahe scored 8.5 points out of 9, the Armenian Chess Federation reported on Tuesday.

Hakob Hakobyan came in 2nd with 7.5 points, while FM Edgar Hayrapetyan finished 3rd with 7 points.

Gagik Melkumyan took the 1st place in the U1700 section with 5 points.
