Armenian GM's team wins bronze at World Blitz Team Championship

The Chessy team involving Armenia's leading chess player Haik Martirosyan became the bronze medalist of the FIDE World Blitz Team Championship, the Armenian Chess Federation reported on Tuesday.

The team consists of GM Richard Rapport, GM Alexey Sarana, GM Haik Martirosyan, GM Vidit Santosh Gujrathi, GM Jorden Van Foreest, IM Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus, GM Anna Muzychuk, GM Koneru Humpy and Mukhtar Ainakul.

The Armenian chess player also took the 2nd place on the 3rd board.
