Armenian government designates June 17 as Father's Day

The Armenian government approved a proposal to designate June 17 as Father's Day at a meeting on Thursday.

The bill had been introduced by ruling Civil Contract faction MP Zarui Batoyan.

The holiday aims to strengthen family bonds and highlight the role of fathers in raising children.
