Pashinyan offers condolences to Iran over coal mine blast

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has expressed condolences to Iran following the deadly coal mine explosion.

“Deeply saddened to hear about the coal mine explosion in Khorasan, Iran. My deepest condolences to the families of the victims. I hope for a swift recovery for all the injured,’’ Pashinyan said in a post on X on Sunday.

A gas explosion in a coal mine in Iran's South Khorasan Province killed at least 51 people and injured 20, Iran's state media said on Sunday.
