MEP urges Azerbaijan to release Armenian prisoners

Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Fernand Kartheiser calls on Azerbaijan to guarantee Armenia’s territorial integrity, preserve Armenian cultural heritage in Nagorno-Karabakh and release Armenian prisoners.

Kartheiser shared on X his letter written to the Azeri ambassador to the EU ahead of COP29 in Baku.

The letter expressed concern over the threats to Armenia’s territorial integrity and encouraged Baku to sign a peace agreement with Yerevan as soon as possible.
