Prosecutors seek seizure of Aghvan Hovsepyan's assets

The Armenian Prosecutor General's Office seeks to confiscate expensive property and other assets of former chief prosecutor Aghvan Hovsepyan.

Prosecutors have asked the Anti-Corruption Court to allow the forfeiture of 29 properties and 2,5 billion drams from the former official and his close associates, accusing him of illicit enrichment.

Hovsepyan also formerly served as chairman of Armenia's Investigative Committee.
