Armenia sees rise in Covid cases

Armenia's health authorities have warned about a seasonal increase in acute respiratory infections.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Health said the infections were mostly confirmed among children aged 0-18 years.

Armenia saw a 22.5% rise in Covid-19 cases in the past week.

The health authorities urge people to get a seasonal flu vaccine to guard against acute respiratory infections or prevent their complications.

Also, patients are advised to stay home, drink plenty of fluids and frequently ventilate their rooms.
