Pavlodar Open: Armenian GM sole leader before final round

Armenian GM Aram Hakobyan is the sole leader of the international chess tournament Pavlodar Open 2024 taking place in Kazakhstan from October 13 to 21.

Aram beat Indian IM Ayush Sharma on Sunday and has 7.5 points out of 9 before the last round, the Armenian Chess Federation reported.

GM Manuel Petrosyan beat Azerbaijani GM Vugar Rasulov in the penultimate round and has collected a total of 6 points.

The last round starts at 10 a.m. Yerevan time.
