Guangzhou Open: Elina Avanesyan loses to Bronzetti in first round

Italian Lucia Bronzetti reached the second round of the Guangzhou Open by winning against Armenian Elina Avanesyan, the No 4 seed, 6-1, 6-4 at the Nansha International Tennis Center on Tuesday, Tennis Majors reported.

Bronzetti, ranked No 84, will face Romanian Jaqueline Cristian next.
