Armenia sends out 4 players to World Youth Chess Championships

The FIDE World Youth Chess Championships 2024 are being held in Florianopolis, Brazil, from October 29 to November 9.

The event is for U14, U16, and U18 categories, boys and girls respectively.

The Armenian team includes four players – IM Arsen Davtyan (Open 18), FM Aleks Sahakyan (Open 18), Gor Askanazyan (Open 14) and Sona Krkyasharyan (Girls 14).

The games kick off at 10 p.m. Yerevan time.
