Armenia's Aleks Sahakyan to be awarded IM title

Armenian chess player Aleks Sahakyan overcame the 2400 rating threshold within the framework of the World Youth Chess Championship and will be awarded the FIDE title of IM.

In the championship, Aleks scored 7 points out of 11 and improved his rating by 36 points, the Armenian Chess Federation reported.
