Armenia's Andranik Avetisyan wins gold at World Military Wrestling Championships

The 37th World Military Wrestling Championships kicked off in Yerevan, Armenia, on Wednesday, bringing together 400 participants from 24 countries.

Armenian wrestler Andranik Avetisyan clinched a gold medal in the 65kg category, outcompeting his North Korean rival.

Earlier, Suren Aghajanyan and Gaspar Terteryan captured gold medals, Sargis Begoyan won a silver medal, while Ashot Khachatryan and Hrachyan Poghosyan claimed bronze medals.
