Armenian pro-government MP says parliament speaker 'pressured' him

Armenian pro-government lawmaker Hovik Aghazaryan says National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan has "pressured" him.

"I would prefer if Alen Simonyan had threatened me instead of putting me in a tight spot. He pressured me, but in a different way," he told reporters on Tuesday.

Aghazaryan, who represents the ruling Civil Contract party, has yet to decide whether to resign from the parliament, awaiting a "conversation with a close friend".
