Powerful cyclone bringing snow to most parts of Armenia

A powerful northwestern cyclone is making landfall in Armenia on Tuesday, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center warns.

It is forecast to bring snow to Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Gegharkunik, Ararat, Vayots Dzor and Syunik Provinces, as well as the upper parts of Yerevan, late on Tuesday, Wednesday and overnight Thursday.

Temperatures are set to drop by 6-8C in the next two days.
