Heavy snow hit parts of Armenia

A powerful cyclone has delivered heavy snowfall to some parts of Armenia, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports.

Lori Province, mountainous areas of Shirak, Kotayk, Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik and Vayots Dzor Provinces were blanketed in a thick layer of snow last night. The upper parts of Yerevan also saw heavy snow.

Snow will come to an end late on Thursday.

Nighttime temperatures are set to drop by 5-8C from Thursday to Saturday.
