Armen Charchyan, a former MP and director of Izmirlian Medical Center, had his probation period reduced from three years to one.
Charchyan remains free after the Yerevan Criminal Court of Appeals rejected the prosecutor's appeal and partially granted a defense request on Wednesday, his attorney Erik Aleksanyan reported.
The ex-MP was found guilty of election influence charges and was given a four-year suspended prison sentence with a probation period of three years in February 2024.
