Armenian weightlifters start performances at World Championships today

The 2024 World Weightlifting Championships are being held in Manama, Bahrain, from 6 to 15 December.

Armenia has sent 11 athletes, including 9 male and 2 female, to the championships.

The Armenian lifters are scheduled to begin their performances on Saturday.

Garnik Cholakyan is the first to hit the mat in the men's 61 kg Greco-Roman competition.
