14-year-old dies in Yerevan hospital after drug poisoning

A 14-year-old child died in Yerevan’s Arabkir Medical Center after drug overdose.

“A 14-year-old child took a large amount of medicine at home and was taken to the Alaverdi hospital with acute poisoning. A day later, the child was moved to Arabkir Medical Center due to acute renal failure,” the hospital said in a statement on Monday.

“Acute multi-organ dysfunction was diagnosed and the doctors’ efforts, unfortunately, were unsuccessful,” it added.
