Armenia and Italy sign 2025 defense cooperation plan

Armenia and Italy on Thursday signed the defense cooperation program for 2025, the Armenian Ministry of Defense reported.

The document, which focuses on exchange of experience, training and military education, was signed at the regular Armenia-Italy defense consultations held in Yerevan and led by Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department at the Armenian Defense Ministry, and Mattia Zuzzi, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Italian Armed Forces General Staff.

They discussed the bilateral cooperation in 2024 and plans for the upcoming year.

There was also an exchange of ideas on several regional and global issues.
