Two Armenian weightlifters to compete at World Championships on Thursday

Two Armenian weightlifters are set to enter the fray at the IWF World Weightlifting Championships 2024 in Mahama, Bahrain, on Thursday.

World and European champion Hakob Mkrtchyan and two-time European champion Davit Hovhannisyan will compete in the 96kg weight category.

The competition begins at 6:30 p.m. Yerevan time.
