Armenia's Shant Sargsyan finishes 4th at Qatar Masters Open

The Qatar Masters Open 2024 international chess tournament has come to a close in Doha, Qatar, the Armenian Chess Federation reports.

138 chess players from 25 countries participated in the tournament, including 43 grandmasters.

GM Shant Sargsyan scored 6.5 points out of 9 and finished fourth.

Shant also improved his rating by 14 points.

Here are the results of all Armenian participants: GM Haik Martirosyan - 5.5 points, GM Tigran Harutyunyan - 5 points and Manuel Petrosyan - 5 points.
