Strong winds rip off roofs in Armenian village

Strong winds tore off the roofs of hundreds of houses and the school in the village of Aragats in Armenia’s Aragatsotn Province on Friday and Saturday, Shamshyan.com reported.

The winds also uprooted more than 100 huge trees and damaged several electric poles and gas pipes in the village.

The roofing sheets of the under-construction village kindergarten were blown away.

The village of Tsaghkashen also sustained damage due to the heavy winds.
