Strong winds expected in Armenia's regions

Heavy winds of 25-30 m/s are expected in Armenia's Lori, Tavush, Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik and Syunik Provinces on Wednesday and overnight Thursday.

The gusts will be 5-20 m/s in Shirak, Kotayk and Vayots Dzor Provinces, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reported.

No strong wind warning has been issued for the Ararat Valley and Yerevan.

Light snow and blizzards are forecast for some parts of Armenia tonight.
