Finance minister: Armenia's public debt expected to reach 50% of GDP in 2024

Armenia’s public debt is expected to amount to approximately 50% of GDP by the end of 2024, with an economic growth rate of 5.5%.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan stated that public debt is projected to reach 49.8-50% of GDP by year-end.

"A GDP growth of around 5.5% is forecast for Armenia this year," he added.
