MPs expelled from Armenia's ruling party set up new party

MPs Hovik Aghazaryan and Hakob Aslanyan, who were expelled from Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract party earlier in December, have established a new party.

The United National Socialist Party is scheduled to hold its first meeting on February 3, Aghazaryan told Pastinfo on Monday.

Other former Civil Contract members are expected to join the party, he said, without elaborating further.

The party's president will be elected at the congress.
