Armenian expert: Turkey deeply involved in Syria

Turkologist Ruben Safrastyan has called attention to Turkey’s strong presence in Syria.

“Turkey is deeply involved in Syria, with people known to be Turkish agents assuming key government positions,” he wrote on Facebook on Friday.

“The educational curricula have already undergone significant changes, including the replacement of the term “Ottoman occupation” with “Ottoman rule”. This is only the beginning of a broader shift,” the expert added.
