Armine Kheranyan named new opposition MP

Armine Kheranyan has been named replacement of opposition Hayastan faction MP Mher Sahakyan, who tragically died in a car crash last week.

The Central Electoral Commission approved a decision to allocate the vacant parliament seat to Kheranyan at a meeting on Monday.

She was next on Hayastan’s electoral list at the 2021 parliamentary elections, succeeding Sahakyan.
