Opposition councilor accuses Yerevan authorities of 'shadowy dealings and favoritism'

The opposition Mother Armenia faction of the Yerevan City Council has called an extraordinary session today to discuss the upcoming increase in public transport fares.

Ahead of the meeting, Mother Armenia councilor Mesrop Manukyan held a press briefing outside the sessions hall, alleging corruption within the Municipality.

Manukyan blasted the Yerevan authorities for the “disgraceful level of shadowy dealings and favoritism”.
