EU ambassadors expected to extend monitoring mission in Armenia today

Ambassadors of EU member states in Brussels are set to decide on the extension of the EU Monitoring Mission in Armenia (EUMA) for another two years on Wednesday, RFE/RL’s Armenian Service reported.

RFE/RL Europe editor Rikard Jozwiak said that the ambassadors were expected to approve the daft decision to extend the mission until 19 February 2027, barring any last-minute surprises.

The mission’s composition and the number of observers will remain unchanged.
