NSS identifies men singing ‘Karabakh’ in central Yerevan

Armenia's National Security Service (NSS) has issued clarifications regarding a viral video which shows a group of men singing “Karabakh, Karabakh” in Yerevan’s central Republic Square.

In a statement on Friday, the NSS stated that the individuals in the video were Iranian citizens.

“These persons were in the Republic of Armenia from 30 December 2024 to January 3 of this year,” the NSS said.

The law-enforcement agency urged the public to refrain from spreading inaccurate or misleading information regarding the incident.
