The H1pdm09 subtype of the Influenza A virus continues to circulate in Armenia, along with other respiratory infections, including the respiratory syncytial virus, rhinovirus and SARS-CoV-2, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported.
From January 27 to February 2, acute respiratory infections remained widespread across the country, with the highest number of cases reported in Ararat, Kotayk and Tavush Provinces.
During this period, primary healthcare facilities registered 9,105 cases of acute respiratory infections, a decrease from the same period last year, which saw 10,033 cases. 74.7% of the patients were minors.
