Yerevan residents have rare chance to breathe clean air after heavy snow

The recent abundant snowfall in Yerevan has brought about a positive outcome. After years of breathing polluted air, the residents of the Armenian capital now have a rare chance to enjoy fresh air.

Arsen Gasparyan, the former director of the Botanical Garden, stated that the heavy snow over the past two days significantly improved the air quality.

"The only positive outcome is the low to moderate levels of PM2.5. Enjoy the rare clean air of Yerevan!” he wrote on Facebook.
