Armenian, Russian parliament speakers discuss bilateral ties

Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan on Tuesday held a phone call with Speaker of Russia's Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko.

The Armenian parliament reported that the two discussed the agenda of Armenian-Russian relations, as well as various issues related to cooperation within the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly and other platforms.

They also touched upon organizational issues concerning Matviyenko’s upcoming official visit to Armenia.
