Ruben Vardanyan's son urges global community to fight against his sham trial in Baku

In a video message to the world, David Vardanyan, the son of businessman and philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan, calls on the global community to fight against the ongoing sham trials against his father and other Armenian political prisoners in Azerbaijan.

"If those Armenian prisoners, including my father, are not freed, no Armenian is safe," he says.

Vardanyan is facing urgent health threats one week after going on hunger strike to protest against the judicial farce, his American lawyer, Jared Genser, warned on Wednesday.
