Artashes Mkhitaryan dismissed as Yerevan Drama Theater head

Artashes Mkhitaryan was dismissed as director of the Yerevan Drama Theater on February 28, according to an order signed by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan.

By another decision, Grigor Khachatryan has been named the theater’s acting director, pending a competition for the vacant post.

Mkhitaryan had led the Drama Theater since 2023.
