Mane Tandilyan hospitalized after five days of hunger strike in central Yerevan

Mane Tandilyan, co-founder of the Country to Live party, was taken to hospital by ambulance on the fifth day of her hunger strike in Yerevan's Freedom Square on Wednesday.

She was accompanied by her fellow co-founder, Mesrop Arakelyan.

Tandilyan began her hunger strike on March 1 to express support for Ruben Vardanyan and other Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan. She called on Vardanyan to end his own strike in the Baku jail.
