The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) maintains working contacts with Yerevan and its obligations towards Armenia remain in place, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov said in an interview with Izvestia.
"We maintain working relations with Yerevan. I would like to emphasize once again that the Republic of Armenia remains an ally, and the organization’s obligations towards the country are still in force. As for the signals of readiness to resume cooperation with the CSTO, the format of our relations has not changed and remains the same," he said.
Armenia froze its participation in the CSTO in February 2024.
