Yeghishe Kirakosyan to be dismissed as Armenia's top legal envoy

Yeghishe Kirakosyan will be relieved of his duties as Armenia's Representative on International Legal Matters following an agreement reached months ago and his own resignation request, the government told RFE/RL's Armenian Service on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the government press office dismissed media reports suggesting that the entire staff of Kirakosyan's office had resigned.

"The office continues to operate normally," it added.
