Missak Manouchian bust to be installed in Yerevan

A bust of Armenian poet and French national hero Missak Manouchian, created by sculptor Sargis Babayan, will be installed in Yerevan.

The Yerevan City Hall reported on Tuesday that an open competition was held for the sculpture, attracting 10 submissions. Following the jury's evaluation, Sargis Babayan's design was selected as the winner with 10 votes.

The bust will be erected in Missak Manouchian Park. The competition's total prize fund amounts to 3 million drams.
