Powerful cyclone to bring heavy rain to Armenia

A powerful western cyclone is set to make landfall in Armenia on Tuesday evening, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports.

Rain and wet snow are expected in most of the country in the coming days, with some areas experiencing heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.

Between March 19 and 23, several regions may receive precipitation equivalent to the monthly average.
