Pashinyan holds phone call with Marco Rubio

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday had a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

They discussed the Armenia-US strategic partnership, as well as issues related to the regional agenda, the Armenian government reported.

"The Prime Minister presented to the Secretary of State the negotiation processes that resulted in reaching an agreement on the draft agreement “On the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan”. The Prime Minister emphasized that the draft agreement is awaiting signing," it said.

The two agreed to continue high-level Armenia-US contacts.
