Expert: Armenia can act as a mediator between Iran and U.S.

Iran specialist Vardan Voskanyan suggests that Armenia could strengthen its external security by positioning itself as a mediator in negotiations between Iran and the United States.

In a social media post on Saturday, Voskanyan stressed that it requires significant diplomatic efforts, including the appointment of special envoys for both Iran and the U.S.

While acknowledging the complexities of such a diplomatic endeavor, he believes the potential benefits outweigh the challenges.

“Our responsibility toward our state and nation, as well as the need to counter the persistent threats posed by Baku’s barbaric regime, compels us to take bold and unprecedented steps to change the unfavorable situation,” he wrote.
