Martun Grigoryan: No one authorized to speak for Our City bloc without my approval

MP Martun Grigoryan, the Gyumri mayoral candidate of the opposition Our City bloc, says that no political force or leader is authorized to speak for the alliance without his approval.

"I want to make it clear that apart from myself, no political group or leader may speak on behalf of the Our City bloc without prior coordination with me. Any public remarks, declarations, opinions or interviews are unrelated to me or the alliance," Grigoryan wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

"Accurate and verified information regarding the bloc’s positions is available exclusively on my official page,” he added, promising to address further questions in the near future.

Last week, Grigoryan announced that the Our City bloc would support fellow candidate Vardan Ghukasyan for Gyumri mayor, stressing that the endorsement came with no demands for positions or favors in return.
