Armenia to host Kazakh Culture Days

On April 18-19, Yerevan will host the Kazakhstan Culture Days, El.kz reports, citing the Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Information.

The event will feature screenings of films by Kazakh directors and as a gala concert.

Kazakh Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva and Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, as well as representatives of the local intelligentsia, the diplomatic corps, creative associations, the Kazakh diaspora, scientists and writers will take part in the cultural events, the report says.

People's Artist of Kazakhstan Roza Rymbayeva, Honored Workers of Kazakhstan Alexander Belyakov and Aigerim Beketaeva, laureates of the State Youth Prize 'Daryn' Rasul Zharmagambetov, Askar Mukiyat and other art stars will perform on the stage. They will perform popular pop songs and works by folk composers.
