The Armenian National Assembly on Tuesday convened its regular session with 65 lawmakers in attendance. At the start of the session, Artyom Mehrabyan was sworn in as a new member of parliament representing the ruling Civil Contract faction.
Mehrabyan appeared to struggle while reading the oath aloud.
He is replacing former MP Vilen Gabrielyan, who resigned in early April and is now actively involved in the Pan-Armenian Union of Gardman-Shirvan-Nakhichevan.
